Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the Nexus Maps infrastructure monitoring platform.

01. Service Description

Nexus Maps ("we", "us", or "our") provides a monitoring portal that collects telemetry, performance data, and geolocation information from client Garry's Mod servers and visualizes this data on a web-based dashboard. By installing our plugins and using our web platform, you agree to these terms.

02. Subscriptions & Pricing

  • Price Changes: Subscription prices and plan features are subject to change. We will provide notice of any price changes prior to your next billing cycle.
  • Feature Volatility: Specific features, tools, and data retention policies available within your subscription plan are subject to change, modification, or removal at any time while the subscription is active, as we improve and iterate on the platform.

03. Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, unused services, or dissatisfaction with feature changes. Please ensure the service meets your needs before subscribing.

04. Data Collection & Usage

By using our service, you authorize Nexus Maps to collect data from your Garry's Mod server instance, including but not limited to player counts, server performance metrics, and in-game geolocation data. You represent that you have the necessary rights to allow this data collection on your servers.

05. Acceptable Use & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or refund, if you violate these Terms. Prohibited activities include:

  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code.
  • Reselling, sub-licensing, or redistributing the service to third parties.
  • Violating Valve Corporation's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Attacking, overwhelming, or attempting to exploit the platform.

06. Privacy & Data Rights

We respect your privacy and data ownership rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Right to Erasure

You may request the permanent deletion of all historical telemetry and account data associated with your servers at any time.

Data Portability

Upon request, we can provide an export of your retained server metrics in a standard machine-readable format.

07. Service Shutdown & Continuity

We are committed to the longevity of your infrastructure data. In the unlikely event that the Nexus Maps SaaS platform is permanently shut down or ceases operations:

  • Active users will be provided with a self-hostable version of the dashboard.
  • This version will allow you to link and monitor one (1) single server instance per installation.
  • This version is for personal/internal use only and will not include multi-tenancy features.

08. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nexus Maps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or any downtime experienced by your game servers. By using the Nexus Maps platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

09. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

10. Changes to Terms & Policies

Nexus Maps reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a prominent notice on the dashboard.

Consent to Electronic Communications

By creating an account and using the Service, you expressly consent to receive electronic notices from us regarding changes to these Terms, Privacy Policy, and other administrative or legal notices.
