We believe in keeping things simple. We only use cookies that are absolutely essential for our service to function.
Unlike many other websites, Nexus Maps does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or marketing purposes.
We only use "Strictly Necessary" cookies. These are small text files stored on your device that are required for you to log in to your account, maintain your session while you navigate the dashboard, and keep your data secure.
We use a standard authentication system (NextAuth.js) which sets the following cookies to manage your secure session:
Purpose: Authentication
Stores your active session token. Allows you to stay logged in while navigating between pages.
Purpose: Security
Protects your account and our servers from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.
Purpose: Functionality
Remembers the page you were trying to visit before logging in, so we can redirect you there automatically.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function, they cannot be switched off in our systems. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but major parts of the site (specifically the Dashboard and Login) will stop working.
